THE ”Rock” Café, what we call, “THE “Rock” Shokudo”, is a sort of “bizarre” and “anti-artistic” café or music pub/dinning bar/restaurant, run under a free spirit and an unrestrained policy, where you can listen to not only ’60s~’70s rock music mostly, but also blues, R&R, R&B, roots reggae/DUB, modern jazz~fusion, ambient music, etc., and you can freely ask us for some requests with your preferable music or artist, similar to a traditional rock café having existed here in Tokyo in the past...

  Contrary to this type of café, since we are completely all time no smoking, you can relaxedly enjoy yourself free from cigarette smoke with your favorite drink and “innovative” food menu using very healthy, natural, seasonal, and unique ingredients as you desire, most of which were directly ordered from “Akita” Prefecture located in northern Japan, but we fortunately also have some smoking area with a table available in front of the café.

  In the inner part of the café, we have some gallery and event space mainly for artists, called "The Factory", which is available for your live performance, demonstration, various kinds of class/workshop/laboratory/presentation, distribution sales, and drama as well as exhibition for your painting, engraving/print, photograph, objet d'art, etc. Depending upon your event at “The Factory”, we can accept your favorite BGM. In addition, we can provide you with a set of PC projector, big-sized screen, and DVD player, all of which would mainly be intended for your holding some film/cinema activities, using DVD media.
