Thank you very much for your sympathy.

I have received many e-mails of inquiry about the situation caused by the earthquake and the tunami.
I and my family are all safe. I was in China when the earthquake occurred. I am now back in Yokohama.

My strong concern is about the situation of my friends and their families. I have many friends there, for I stayed 9 years in Sendai which is located in the center of disaster area.

We are now facing emergent situation of subsequent events which the quake and the tsunami caused. However, I do hope we can overcome the difficulties.
